Step 1: Locate the Ohtani Region
Start by opening your world map and heading toward the northern part of the map. The Ohtani region sits near the top of this area. What you’re looking for are a cluster of red electricity pylons—or radio towers—that stand out against the landscape. These towers are your visual cue that you’re in the right neighborhood.
Step 2: Make Your Way to the Radio Towers
Once you’ve spotted the pylons, set a waypoint near them, or fast-travel to a nearby landmark, like Mei’s House, if it’s unlocked. Drive up the hill along the main road that runs just behind these massive metal structures. The journey is short, but the view from up here is worth it—just don’t get distracted and miss the mural!
Step 3: Find the Mural Building
Directly beneath the radio towers, you’ll see a small industrial facility. Circle around to the eastern side of this building. There it is: the Naoshi Mural, large, colorful, and impossible to ignore once you know where to look. It’s painted right on the exterior wall, making it a perfect photography spot.
Step 4: Capture Your Shot
Park your car in front of the mural and press Up on the D-pad to enter Photo Mode. Take a moment to adjust the angle so both your car and the artwork are visible. Once you’ve got the perfect frame, snap the photo. This will register the location in your Discover Japan journal, unlocking credits and some unique in-game rewards.
With these steps, finding the Naoshi Mural becomes straightforward, letting you enjoy the scenery and complete your collection without frustration. Happy exploring—and don’t forget to share your best shots!
