I was about to give up on my 2015 Jaguar XF because the ZF 8 speed kept slamming into reverse and holding gears too long, and three different garages in Dubai couldn't figure it out without wanting to swap the whole unit. A friend suggested I try a proper Jaguar Gearbox Service Sharjah, so I took it there last month and the difference is night and day. The mechanic spent a full day running diagnostics, found a worn mechatronic sleeve and a dirty valve body, replaced the seals and fluid, then reset all the adaptations. Cost me less than a third of the dealer's quote and the car shifts smoother than it ever has. If your Jag is acting up, don't lose hope.
