Step-by-Step Gear Guide for Aion 2 Players - OLiViASTOne909 - 05-08-2026

Phase 1: Early Game (Level 1–45)
Your first goal is to hit level 45, unlocking most of the endgame content.
1. Follow the Main Story
Stick to the yellow Episode Quests. They give good XP and gear along the way. Don’t worry about perfection—your main focus is leveling.
2. Bridge Gear Gaps
If you struggle in certain zones, use green side quests or Sealed Dungeons to boost your gear score (GS) before moving forward. A small detour can save frustration later.
3. Save Resources
Don’t spend too much energy farming early gear, like Fire Temple weapons. The game provides a strong level 57 weapon after your Ascension quest at level 45—this is far better than anything you grind for now.

Phase 2: Level 45 Entry (GS 0–1400)
Once you hit level 45, the real gearing begins.
1. Upgrade Evenly
Evenly enhance all gear pieces (e.g., +1 on every slot, then +2). This method is the most cost-effective for improving your Combat Power (CP).
2. Morph Your Gear
Use Substance Morphing to upgrade rarity:
  • Green +10 → Blue
  • Blue +10 → Unique
Don’t waste time chasing rare drops early; morphing gives a reliable path upward.
3. Collect Cards
Run graded dungeons for Arcana Cards. Prioritize getting all five cards to green quality first for an easy ~200 GS boost.
4. Passive Boosts
Explore the world for Pantheon statues and colossi. Each adds permanent stats that slowly stack, giving you a solid CP foundation.

Phase 3: Mid-Game Push (GS 1400–1700)
Now, you focus on specialized gear for both PvE and PvP.
1. Choose Your Gear Type 2. Prioritize Abyss Accessories
Buy rings, earrings, and necklaces early. These are long-term items and won’t need replacing soon.
3. Run High-Difficulty Dungeons
Expedition and Conquest dungeons drop golden gear, which surpasses your starting sets and crafted gear in raw stats.

Phase 4: Endgame Optimization (GS 1700–2400+)
High-tier gear is all about refinement and perfection.
1. Soulbinding & Syncing
Use the Sync system to replace undesirable stats on your unique gear. You’ll need unique “fodder” items to roll for better stats. Always keep your unique loot, even if the stats aren’t perfect.
2. Transcendence Content
Around 1650–1700 GS, start tackling Transcendence dungeons to push your score toward 2000 GS.
3. Vakron’s Sky Island
Accessible around 1800 GS, this zone offers massive progression, letting you reach 2400+ GS if you’re properly geared.

Quick Gear Tips
  • Keep Unique Items – They’re vital for the Syncing system. Don’t sell them, even if the stats are low.
  • Mana Stone Investment – Early on, focus only on basic green stats like attack or crit. Save heavy rolling for endgame gear.
  • Extract for Resources – Common items give 100% of Enhancement Stones back when extracted, though Kinah spent is lost. This is a key way to recycle materials efficiently.

By following this step-by-step approach, you’ll progress efficiently through Aion 2’s complex gearing systems, saving time and maximizing your Combat Power at every stage. Whether you’re a PvE grinder or PvP competitor, this roadmap ensures you stay ahead without wasting valuable resources.
